Sub-Acute Detoxification
At New Bridge Foundation, we believe that detoxification should be safe and as painless as possible. Under the direction of our medical director, our team of physicians and nurses provide a thorough assessment and decide what detoxification services are needed. This program for adults includes the following:
- Medical Assessment
- Medication Evaluation
- 24-Hour Monitoring
- Individual Counseling and Support
- Group Sessions
- Treatment and Discharge Planning
Detox is an important step in getting ready for the treatment process. This is a time to cleanse the body and mind and prepare oneself for doing the important work of sobriety. During detox you will meet regularly with our medical staff as your needs and health status are continually evaluated. You will have the opportunity to attend groups while a comprehensive plan for your transition to another level of care is created. Our goal is that, upon completion of detox, you are feeling whole and ready to take on the next challenges of your sobriety.
