  • Individual and Family Counseling
  • Family Education and Support Group
  • Relapse Prevention
  • Anger and Stress Management
  • Dual Diagnosis Services

  • Health Education
  • Physical Conditioning Program with personal trainers, jogging, and yoga
  • Meditation and Movement Therapy
  • Art Therapy
  • Acupuncture
  • 12-Step Support
  • Free Aftercare

Residential treatment is a time to focus on yourself. We encourage each person to take this time to separate themselves from the stresses of daily life and to concentrate on the tools needed to gain sobriety. During residential treatment you will learn many techniques and strategies for long-term recovery.

The structure and discipline you will learn in residential care are the foundation for a happy and sober life. This is also a time when you will focus on your individual goals, and your counselor will help you break these goals down into achievable steps so that, by discharge, you will feel ready to face the world again.  Call our Admissions office at 800-785-2400 or 510-548-7270 if you are interested in finding out more about our treatment programs.

Free Aftercare Program

New Bridge Foundation offers a free Aftercare Program for all individuals successfully completing treatment. The program consists of weekly group therapy, 12-step meetings, and random urine screens, for up to one year. Our Aftercare Program is unique in that there are multiple Aftercare groups and not just one large group where few clients get to share. This allows for individual attention and group bonding.

We cannot stress enough the importance of attending Aftercare if you are able. Studies consistently show that the longer individuals stay in treatment, the better their chance of staying sober.  We designed our Aftercare Program with these studies in mind. If you are unable to attend Aftercare at New Bridge Foundation, we will work closely with you to create an Aftercare Plan which includes services in your area.  We want you to have the best chance possible of living a sober, happy life. Many clients report that the bonds they create in Aftercare are ones they have for a lifetime.
