Founded in 1968, New Bridge Foundation is a nonprofit agency offering integrated chemical dependency and mental health treatment to adults, age 18 and over. New Bridge Foundation utilizes a holistic approach in which traditional and alternative treatment methods are used.

Our main site is located in two beautiful Hearst mansions in the hills above the UC Berkeley campus where clients receive treatment in a home-like environment, rather than an institutional setting. We are easily accessible by BART and bus. One of the key benefits to our central location is that families can be part of the recovery process, which is one key to successful treatment outcomes.

In addition to providing adult services, ASPIRE, our adolescent program, provides drug and alcohol services in targeted middle and high schools in the East Bay.

New Bridge Foundation is licensed and certified by the State of California Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs and has the highest accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).
